Beauty Walk

Winter weary days like these, don't promote the appeal of a nature walk. I even went to the gym yesterday to avoid the cold wet trails.
But they are perfect for taking a beauty walk. Bringing beauty into my life means finding bright colors and interesting shapes Looking at nature is a good source for finding something beautiful.
So I went out today to see what beauty I could find. I found it.
I saw twigs and stones, rocks and puddles, lush moss, soggy leaves and fir cones, and ferns dripping with raindrops. I saw leftover piles of snow, sparkling with crystals like old diamond rings. I saw early daffodil varieties sending forth shoots from soggy ground. I saw hellebore blossoms getting ready to open.
Not only did I find some beauty, but I also found those signs of spring to come.
Happy days!
And remember to look for signs of beauty. What you seek is what you will find.
