A Blue Day revealed

Sailboats slide across Bellingham Bay. Water cascades over boulders or laps at the shore of a rocky beach. Blue days have a sound to them, quiet and soothing.
Blue is both cool, the color of water, and warm, the sky on a hot sunny day.
Blue is the center of electricity, powerful.
Blue has been used to heal headaches, high blood pressure, and intractable insomnia.
Although isn't blue light a cause of sleeplessness? Don't we have to wear amber glasses to screen out the blue?
Blue represents harmony, peace, loyalty, steadfastness, sincerity, and masculinity.
Blue suppresses appetite, because there are no truly blue foods.. blueberries try.. but blue doesn't stimulate appetite because it doesn't look like food.
Use a blue candle for spiritual understanding, for greater faith, for healing and children.
Use a blue light bulb to create calmness.
In color healing, visualize and breathe in blue to reduce pain. and fevers.
In decorating, blue is used for a relaxing ambience. Blue slows down time, which is good for bedrooms.
A blue kind of day allows you to focus on water and air and let go of all time and stress.

Currently a sea of blue waves in my front yard, with these delicate forget-me-nots. Leaving the wildflowers to spread, gives honeybees a place to safely gather pollen.
These were in our garden when I was growing up and so to me, and the bees, they are a precious flower. The little girl down the block loves to collect bouquets of these dainty blue blossoms. I encourage her to do so, another kind of happiness. Nothing like seeing a child's smile to brighten your day.
